IQ and Jobs

The chart below shows the IQ scores for various careers. Note the wide range of in IQ scores for each job. You might think that those with the higher IQ's in a given profession would earn the most. This is not often true. Ability to get along with other people and ambition each have at least as much to do with income as does IQ. IQ scores tend to act more as a gatekeeper as to who is able to pass tests to get into a profession.
